Is the 'journey of Life' making you feel old-school or sound philosophical?
It's none of that kind.
This one-page note is a summation of my experience, conversations with subject experts, and learning from different suitable sources.
It'll turn out to be like a good conversation with a friend.
I think so. Do you?
No doubt, a human being needs to be educated to lead a good life. But what does it mean to be educated?
Surely, it's not about how many schools, colleges, or course certificates we have in our name.
Though early formal education teaches the importance of clothes, food, shelter, mathematics, or science, it gradually shapes the mind into a narrow like tunnel where it struggles to observe and think out of the box.
Am I saying that early formal education is useless? Not really. We're seeing youngsters dropping out of schools and colleges just like some famous personalities of the world. However, the students fail to notice the "clarity mindset based on the reality" those successful people had while dropping out.
I think education should provide an environment where an individual can discover what is right for him or herself and society.
Maybe the rarest of people think about Albert Einstein's words;
"Education is not the learning of facts, but the training of the mind to think."
"Everybody is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it'll live its whole life believing that it is stupid."
It is damn cool to imagine a balanced and rightly managed life where all the major aspects of it are in the right place.
But the "coolness" exist only in social media life?
Ideal six-pack abs and weight loss gaps are narrowing the difference between "Looking healthy" and "being healthy".
One of the dominating factors could be being wrongly influenced by celebrities or fake fitness icons on social media.
I think there's absolutely nothing wrong with being motivated by fitness enthusiasts.
Though the underlying definition of fitness is the same, I observed and learned that there are differences in requirements, and ways of achieving and maintaining fitness for every individual.
Of course, taking care of health and fitness is important for everyone, but the requirements and processes of soldiers, film stars, and sports professionals in different categories aren't applicable to everyone.
since online marketing is part of my career, I would like to give an example.
"Weight loss" is one of the leading terms that is highly used to sell many products and services to the general public. When I verified with healthcare professionals, I learned that body weight contains water, bone density, and other weights along with fats. So randomly setting "weight loss" as a goal and implementing some random steps will lead to savior diseases.
Similarly "Mental Health" is another topic. There are countless ideas, suggestions, and whatnot.
I think a healthy mind and the 'relationship' have a close connection. So let's consider it later.
Basically, self-learning from the right sources is the key to managing health and the next things we are about to look at.
Yes! "Health is Wealth", but only that wealth isn't enough to live comfortably right?
That's where the kind of education/learning we're talking about comes into play.
A few points I noted about wealth management in the journey of life.
Earning: Business, full-time corporate jobs, various professions, freelancing, or arts - all ways have their own positives and negatives. The comparison based on 'greatness' is unnecessary, I believe.
Spending: Usually people spend money on their needs, wants, and desires. The definition of these will change according to the earning, spending power, stages, and various situations of life.
Investing: Understanding the differences between saving from earnings and growing wealth by investing in assets considering the compounding values is one of the great skills that lead to financial freedom.
Risk Management: Insurance is a good option in the financial system to cover the possible risks involved in various aspects such as health, life, and other material things. Sadly, there are a large number of people who think either Insurance is a waste of money or insurance is an investing option.
Taxation: People do use the word tax very often. But most people avoid understanding why they pay, how they pay, how much they pay, and other relevant understandings, that directly affect their day-to-day lives.
What do you say?
Comfortability is constantly improving for human life at an unimaginable phase, largely because of rapid technological development and growth.
But what about "Happiness' or "Easiness"?
The ease of actions we perform in day-to-day life is an arguable factor. But it is not equal to the "happiness" that the majority of people desire to be, isn't it?
"Healthy Relationships" is the factor revealed in 80+ years of study conducted by Harvard University. In fact, My observation and limited learning said the same thing.
Undoubtedly, managing relationships is a complex thing. It's easier said than done too.
Having said that, we can't leave it as it is right. In one second, everything looks perfect, the next moment it's horrible. Life forces us to take some actions, but there are no set patterns or exactly defined actions that are suitable for everyone. Relationships are dynamic and subject to many changes.
Here are the points that can be recognized in people who manage relationships with fewer conflicts;
Recognize the role of relationships in life.
Question the definition of “Correct Relationships”.
Properly prioritize the relationships you are surrounded with.
The sense of humor.
Flexible mindset.
Yes! It's a flexible or healthy mindset that can help in managing all these aspects we just looked at.
Remember the connection between a healthy mind and relationships we mentioned in health management? Here it is.
The mind becomes an important tool to learn and manage various aspects of life.
But when it comes to facing an additional challenge like managing the body's uncommon appearance in any form in society, or deep imbalance in any one or all aspects of life, these raises questions in the mind whether it's in others' brains or one's own.
In my case, it's obvious. Because of my personal and professional life, learning about health, wealth, relationships, and the common tool / balancing factor - The Mind became important.
